new ro system

i just purchased a ro system. been using tap water. i know wasnt smart. when i start using ro water do i change the water as normal 1 gal top off a day and i change 10 % every other week. or do i do a bunch of small changes? thanks for the help

IMO, Either way works. I have a quart of evaporation I replace daily and change 5 gallons weekly on my 90.

That sounds like a good schedule, unless you're having water quality issues and you want to get a lot of the residual tap contaminants out of the tank. In that case I'd probably do 3 or so large (~40%) water changes, one/week, and then go to the weekly schedule you described.
