Powerhead Placement???

okI just got two MJ1200 with the hydor flo attachment... I was looking to increase water movement...

however, I think I may have too much flow now. The powerheads are kicking up a sandstorm everytime the thing rotates... but it is crud coming off of the rocks...

My rocks form a "U" around the back and sides of the tank, with a large open area in the middle for fish to swim in when I finally get some.

So I guess my question is, would I be better off just putting these on the back with the stock deflector, or on the back with the hydors, or the sides???

I'm having an issue with the hydor(it moves all my sand to 1 side) so i'm going back to the deflector.You don't have alot of flow.My return is 1000gph;1 MJ1200 and a sieo 820gph and i need more lol.Just place the MJs in the back corners facing the front middle of the tank,but aim them up.That will make the water tuble in an up-down motion.
