My seemingly healthy RBTA is losing tentacles around the mouth. every once and a while I will see one laying in the sand, it s the full tentacle with green base and orange red glowing extension.
I am thinking a fish or stupid Coral banded shrimp may be doing it but does it ever happen naturally? seems strange that it is only happening around the center and they appear like perfectly healed pimples after.
He has grown so much in the couple months I have had it and eats well and has not moved from it's spot ever so that is why I think it is happy and healthy. It is pretty contracted in the pic but the base can fill up that whole space sometimes maybe 3-4" across and that is when I can see the mouth and missing arms.
