Red Snapping Shrimp reef safe?

I was thinking about getting a pair of red snapping shrimp for my reef tank. Has anyone had any experience with them? Are they reef safe?

Ive tried looking around but haven't seen much info on them

I've have one in my tank for quite awhile.. they potentially could both other inverts I think especially other shrimp, I did lose a cleaner shrimp but I couldn't tell you who the culprit was or if it was something entirely different (like my slacking water changes?), but I also have a few peppermints, numerous hermits, and other CUC and he doesn't seem to bother any of them but does snap at the fish and other guys when he's gathering food.

Mine i am pretty sure is one of these.

What is it like, does it hide all the time or is it visible and active? Thanks in advance.

Mine is on a constant construction project.. He's always out and about, digging and rearranging sand, moving rubble around and sometimes even a snail or two that he thinks i sin the wrong place.

The Japanese pistols are the worst in temperament and I don't recommend having one in a reef. I have a Bileg pistol, the orange with blue legs. and it stays in the shadows 99% of the time. I'm thinking of trading it in for a tiger pistol shrimp, since they are way easy to pair with watchmen, yashas and redlines
