So I have a reef octopus nwb110 that I've been running for a while now and I was wondering has anyone upgraded to the pump to a bubble blaster pump and does it make a big difference or not really?

the bubble blaster pump isn't cheap.
i do not think you will see people buying that skimmer and then upgrade the pump to the bubble blaster.

If you upgrade the pump, you end up with an SRO1000 effectively. It's the same skimmer body different pump. The pump is expensive as mentioned. And you need to check if you need the adapter or not. Coralvue has a forum on RC that is pretty active and will give you the answers you need.
