Rock Smoke??

Last night once the MH went out (actinic lights only), the strangest thing began to happen. I saw what appeared to be white smoke coming from a hole in the live rock, I mean A LOT of it. It was coming out in waves?.every 20 seconds or so?.went on for about 20 minutes??the tank clouded up after this event but today the tank is clear and all are happy.

Does anyone have any idea what this could have been from?

sounds like a spawning to me too.....by the way, you really shouldn't smoke rock!

It's exactly what I saw about a week ago and posted under "identify spawners". It's probably snails, stomatella, or something similar spawning in your system. Kewl huh?
