Snail spitting

I'm rearranging my Moonlight and I spot a huge snail spewing a cloud of milky fluid. What's up with that? Last week I tried pulling him off a rock but it was so strong that I was picking up a 5 lb rock doing so. I gave up. This time he was in the waving hand and I was able to pick him up. Any Idea if it's OK to let him keep spewing? It's pretty big. On the glass I would say it's the size of a quarter.

The last time I had something spewing my Cuke was self destructing. Not sure if this is similar.

Spawning, wont hurt anything. Stomatellas do this quite often.

I was going to make another comment about spitting but would probably get kicked of the site.

Yeah, it's fine. Next time you might want to keep your hands out of the tank though.

I had snails do that, if you look close it looks like its smoking

Let em' do what nature gave em Free fish and filter feeder food. My stomatella do this often now. My snails do too. St8ngs snails were spawning and shooting it OUT OF THE TANK the other night when I was over there. Again...free food for the system.
