Tomini Tang with bump on his upper lip.. infection??

I have a relatively new family member, a little tomini tang. After having him quarantined, I put him in one of my FOWLR tanks to eat up some of the algae I've been having in it. He was fine for about 3 weeks happily chowing down, but then recently as I was feeding, I noticed he had developed a small red protrusion on his upper lip on one side. Its about the size of a grain of salt and it is red on the tip. He seems to be still happy, is still eating, etc, but I am concerned for his health. None of the other fish have any marks or are acting erratically. Anybody know what it could be? Thanks!

Because tangs nip at rocks and have their faces so close to substrate it is most likely a parasite. I will do a little more research. Is it opened or a sealed bump? Might I recommend a cleaner shrimp for now? I love Tomini Tangs and that will be one of my future additions to my 75
