Nothing I could ever see. But I did start adding them a long while back before I really had much experience in reef keeping. I have continued to add them, but was hoping the study would finally come out so I could see whether I was now dosing Br to NSW levels (I think about 65 ppm), or twice NSW levels if they had started to add it to the salt mix.

for us I just wonder if its over kill or anything, since in the summer i use NSW I think Ill just not worry about it!

The funny/strange thing about the article by Hovanec and Coshland was that it was supposed to be part I of a series. They were going to publish more details about the major and minor ions in the water as well.

I saw that article, but what I'm really looking for is the elemental analysis of the water, particularly the minor components like Br and F, etc.
