unlevel tank stand

How did you guys build your stands? I picked the starightest 2x4s from HD and after building the frame it isn't level. Look ok to the eye but it wobbles some. What do I do?

I find the strightest 2x4's I can find. ( fir is better k.d. pine) I assemble the stand and plane down any crowns. Level the stand front to back and side to side. I use cedar shims. When the stand is level scribe the legs. Cut legs to the scribe line. Works every time. Just like setting kitchen cabinets.

Is the top flat? If so, you can just shim between the bottom of the stand and the floor.
