This is true also Frank. My DT has extremely high flow to support all the SPS in there. Alveos prefer milder flow and high nutrients.

As of this post that Alveo frag is really starting to show growth.

btw how deep is ur sand?

Couldnt I (or anyone) plumb this into your main system with min flow? Then again if u have no filtration why bother?

Exactly. Plus I like to keep it separate for disease etc ...

20lb bag of live sand was added. Minimal sand bed, minimal LR.
