vho bulbs?

i would like to upgrade my lighting i just have a regular Fluorescent bulb i hear vhos are inexpensive. can i just put a vho bulb in place of my other bulb? or do i need other things to go with it ?

You need VHO end caps and depending on what you have a ballast upgrade.

its a 30 gal tank and it has a 24in bulb and i would be very interested if you have the size i need
