White Fuzz on Purple Figi LR???

I just noticed on one of my rocks thst there is what looks like white fuzz. what is this and what can i go to get rid of it???

Is it sponge? If it is, it's good "fuzz". Can you get a pic?

How old is the rock? Was it moved recently?

no i can not get a pic! i dont know if it is a sponge. i bought the rock from a BR member, i believe he has had it for 2 years and yes i did move the rock, just to get it out of the way to remove something from the tank. how can i tell if it is a sponge?? i know the gentleman that i bought it from had a beautiful reef tank but could it have been part of a coral or something that he removed from the rock?
