Whoa...Mysis Invasion

last night i turned on the actinics after they shut off accidentally and noticed lots of stuff in the water column..1st i thought air bubbles and then noticed my clown eating something. whoa.. closer look revealed hundreds of tiny mysis everywhere.
never noticed anything like this b/f. would this event happen regularly and i just never have seen it? anyone else notice mysis spawnings like this?

The clouds of the little zippy babies stay around if the feeding conditions are right and the parents aren't eaten. They will hang out near the substrate.

that is cool! this hobby continues to amaze and amuse......I thought I was doing well because I've got good pod growth......
