Looking for some advice on the acclimation process because this is all new to me.
Last night I bought (2) yellow clown gobies and (1)
Ocellaris clown - false percula. Within the first 30
minutes or sooner 1 of the 2 yellow clown gobies died
and started floating head up in the tank.
I put their bags in the tank for about 30 minutes and
then poured the bags into a bucket, then slowly every
10 minutes or so I put some of my water in to the
bucket until I doubled the volume.
The little gobies didn't really move all that much so
it was hard to tell how they were doing in the bucket,
after about 45 minutes in mixed water, I scooped 1 at a
time in the tank.
The other 2 fish are fine and made it through the night. I don't have a QT setup yet because of $$ and space - I'm still luring my wife into this ...
Any ideas as to why the little guy croaked ?
