A Friendly Reminder

The Chicago Experience!
As we approach tomorrow's auction I want to remind everyone to prepare to dip ALL corals purchased at the auction.

Take it from someone who has been reefing a long time and has learned the hard way. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!

Good dips are Flatworm Exit, Betadine, and of course Interceptor for SPS frags. If using Interceptor remember to dip the coral for the full six hours. Some use Hydrogen Peroxide for Zoas. I haven't had much luck using Peroxide and I lean toward a good freshwater dip and manual egg removal if Nudis are found.

Good luck tomorrow and I'm looking forward to a great time!
