Bought Coral . . . Got Bubble Algae

pesto

Keeping it Simple!
I bought some frogspawn and green hammer coral from a local reefer recently. Unfortunately, I am now dealing with a small bubble algae issue. I have removed a few bubbles from my tank and today, I noticed that there were two bubbles attached to the frogspawn. I have never had an issue with bubble algae until introducing these two corals. Is there anything I can do to rid them of bubble algae? Should they be removed from my tank?

Just take the frogspawn/hammer out and pick the bubbles off.......no biggie.
Then if there's still a few here and there, get an emerald crab.

I have a few emerald crabs i see eating some bubble algea in my tank u can try that if u want. If not u can remove them manualy but try not to break then.

How does the Emerald Crab eat the bubble algae without breaking it, I always wondered about this?

LOL

I thought the same thing.
I think what happens is they eat the small ones that haven't produced spores yet.But it's hit or miss with emerald crabs having a taste for bubble algae.
