Calc test kit preferences?

on the other hand though Bob... my Elos and salifert ALK kits read about 3dKH off.. the salifert reads way high, I had issues a while back when i thought my alk was about 7 dKH, and it was really 4 dKH.. so i switched to Elos

My Alk lately has been around 7 dkh.
I like to keep it around 9.I tested with 2 different Salifert test kits and got the same result.I'm glad I have 2 to test against each other.Unless of coarse both are off.

When I first started testing Alk, I didn't know any better and went to a local LFS and they gave me an IO (believe it or not) Alk kit. I actually like that one b/c you can use 11ml of water and it seems to give the same readings. Interesting. I ran out, so I might have to try another one to see how well it actually does.
