Hamilton Technology Moonlights

I was wondering if it was safe to leave this on for 24 hours? I am not worried about burnout time, but whether or not it is safe for the coral/fish well being

they are sold as moonlights, but i noticed that when they are on all night, my clownfish don't really sleep/hide when they are on... possibly because they are used to no light between 12pm-8am.. i guess changing there sleeping pattern wouldn't be the greatest idea

From what Ive read, your tank needs a certain amount of dark time to allow for certain lifecycles to occur. My moon light usually goes off at 10:30 and doesnt come back until 9:30 am. Stray light will make its way into the tank occasionally but for the most part the tank is completely dark from 12am-7am allowing the fish to sleep and the corals to attempt to feed.

i tried the 24 hour moonlight last night... they didn't like it, neither did my girlfriend.
