searching for silent water flow

Hi all-

I have a Tunze Nanostream 6045 in my 75 gallon to supplement the flow I get from my return (through an eductor). I find the flow to be really nice for my setup, but the problem is NOISE. I will admit to being super picky about it, but I am looking for a silent solution, and am sure one must exist. Everything else about my system is dead silent, and I want to solve this problem.

I considered getting one of the ceramic rocks you can put them in, but then I just wedged it between some rock on the back of my tank, and getting it off the wall didn't solve the hum... The thing just hums.

So - I am open to any suggestions, at this point.
Should I junk the Nanostream and get something different?
What do others do?

thanks-
Jim

repositioning how?
I have tried putting some foam of various densities between the pump and the glass, but to no avail.

i find on my nanostreams that the noise of the hum changes depending on the alignment of the magnets....give it a try.
