So I am getting a 250W clip on metal halide, one of the Vipers, with a 14K bulb. LED moonlights will be also incorperated somehow.
I plan on running a cascade 600, or possibly a fluval 405, and a koralia 1 on the tank.
As for rockwork/sand, I plan on using no rock. Since it is a frag tank, I am going to have roughly 40-60lbs of live sand, and thats it. I will have different levels of eggcrate, some right covering the sand bed, some at angles as ramps leading up to a couple different levels.
My question is, instead of having a tank look like there is eggcrate all over the place, is there some sort of cloth or plastic I can cover the eggcrate with that i can push a frag plug through to hold it in place, and give snails and hermit crabs an area to walk on? I don't plan on doing any fish in this tank.
Open for suggestions.
