have you ever put a copper based cure in the fresh water tank if so get another tank or do a fish only SW tank corals and inverts do do well with copper.

Just get more tanks. Its part of the hobby; kind of like spending money and getting electrocuted,

im looking to convert my fresh water (90 tall from glass cages) to a fowlr. I think it would look good since its a tall tank

fawkes i don't know how to say this... but 20G is TOO SMALL for a saltwater tank.

well I guess I do know how to say this :D

Definitly go with more tanks. Esp, if it is a freshwater planted tank or if it has puffers. :)

Sherry - the proud owner of 5 freshwater planted tanks, 1 brackish water puffer tank, and 3 reef tanks.

My first saltwater was a 20 high - it is doable as long as you keep up on your water changes and water top off. I ran it successfully for two years before I moved up here and upgraded in size.

Sometime it depend on who is the one that want another tank.

If it is the wife who want more tanks, she will get it.
If it is the other way around, the situation will not be very promising.

I am down to two fish tanks now, one salt, one flesh and still no sump.
