Target Feeding Corals

once in a while i try and target feed my corals, i use the same pellets i give my fish formula one such and such.... my acan frag is small only 3-4 heads but i can only get the pellets in one of the heads becasue the others are on the side, does the entire acan coral get anything out of only feeding one head?

I do it. Not often. Maybe once a week, if that. I use Phyto-feast. A lot of people will even tell u, u shouldn't. If you do target feed, make sure u don't over do it or you will load up ur system with nutrients and cause algae blooms.

I wouldn't use pellets either. Sometimes my War coral and zoas will grab passing mysis shrimp when I feed the fish.
