TigerTail Sea Cucumber splitting???

I dunno, Kevin - with this occurrence happening so soon after the anemone's splitting, I would check your parameters.
Could be a sign something's not right..
I had been a believer that anemones splitting were not necessarily a sign something was wrong with the water, but when that happened to your anemones so close to this, I'm thinking there may be something amiss.

It's a normal form of asexual reproduction, splitting themselves into two. I wouldn't worry about it, especially if they are looking like they should.

That's good to know.I got the TBS pkg yrs ago and was nuked by 3-4 of them so I'm paraniod of 'em.

My tigertail died in my dino outbreak, but I didn't have an ammonia spike from it. They can be pretty toxic, though. I wonder if the brown ones are more toxic when they die than the tiger tails?

I was talking to B at the AG and he said that the TT cucumbers are the less toxic of all the cucumbers.

I also been reading that splitting is common :)
