Trace elements

I use a 5 gallon bucket for top-off through a dosing pump filled with Ro/Di that lasts a week. What do you think about adding a weeks worth of Lugols, SeaChem Reef Plus and Kent trace elements that I usually manually dose to my top-off?

I just added them to my top-off bucket and can't think of a drawback but just wanted the collective opinion. Of my 3 dosing pumps the other 2 now dose BRS 2-Part FYI.

I would be worried that in a bucket with no flow, the trace elements might not mix properly. A good deal of it could settle on the bottom, which is likely where the bucket feeds to the sump. So you could end up dosing more than you intend in one day, or less, depending where the water draws from. I wouldn't risk it myself.

You're on to my thinking Joe. I'm not implying that I have a clue but to me soluble solutions like Lugols dilute rather than resolve and settle.
