Anyone know of custom stand builder in mass??? Or nh??? I want a stand that i saw in local fish store in Salem nh but through the store the price was out of control and its nothing fancy just made of real wood I guess. It is basically a black stand modeled after the marineland Monterey stand made for 24x24 cube or in my case a deep blue 74gal rimless which has same footprint as 60g cube.......so anyone know where to go to get a custom stand...anyone? Any leads? Point me in right direction? Anyone know who might supply stands to local fish stores?????

I think most companies that sell tanks to the LFSes are manufacturing the stands as well so they match the tank. I would think if you get some photos of the stand you are looking for, any metal or wood shop should be able to fabricate one for you. I would check with cabinet makers and metalworkers. I believe there was a metal fab shop off of 106 in Easton, It's right near the Ace Hardware store...if it's still there. (It's been a few years since I've driven through that area.)

Jay's father makes, or at least used to make the occasional custom stand. Ask Jay at Jay's aquatics if they still make them.

There are some nice custom stands available from:

If you have some basic tools, I'd recommend building your own. There are plenty of good threads with directions or you can order a set of plans off ebay.

For around $300 you can build a really nice solid hardwood stand and canopy. Shouldn't take more than a weekend.
