wire management

ok with all the plugs, timers, transformers, extention cords.....ect. What are folks using for power centers and wire management?

I cant seem to get everything pluged in because of timers for this and timers for that or transformers taking up 2 outlets.......

who the wire master?

share your ideas....???

I have a bank of power strips mounted with the cords all in split loom running to a DC8 aquarium controller. Not the most elegant I can think of but I can reconfigure the power set up very quickly. Next time I will probably wire a power distribution box just for the outlets. The split loom can help to keep the wires under control.

Plus mine are spread out between the basement - 2 different areas
Upstairs - 2 different areas

To help with bulky timers, you can use a power strip liberator:

It pulls the timer away from the plug so all plugs are useable. I also use these power panels to make turning things on and off very easy without having to unplug them. I got it at Fishy Business (which is now closed), but I think you can get them at stereo stores.
