29g without brace?

I'm transforming this tank into a new sump/Ref. It does not have the top brace edging. Will it still hold water safely without it or should I re-enforce?

I don't remember a 29 gallon tank has a brace. May be it doesn't require a brace after all.

Right, dz6t, no center brace. But gordonzoo is talking about the plastic rim around the top I think. Personally, I wouldn't go without it, seeing how much mine bows out, but maybe on a sump/refugium it wouldn't have so much water and no HOBs so perhaps it would be OK. But I still probably wouldn't chance it.
