75 gallon with canopy. Will a 48" fixture fit?

Hello,
I have a standard canopy on a 75 gallon and I am wondering if a standard 48" light fixture would fit inside? Most fixtures say they are 47.75 inches, but that is really close....Anyone have any input? Really like the look of the canopy....

its going to depend on the inside length of your canopy. i have 48" lights in mine, but my canopyis built on the outside of my tank rim, so i think my inside dimensions are 49"+

I would think it depends how u would hang it or use legs also...... plus venting also

Thanks for the replies. The canopy has a removable top. Also has 2 holes cut in the sides for fans. Not sure if the 2 side fans and the fans in the fixture would be enough to cool it. If not, I would just remove the top shelf piece. The inside is right about 48 inches....I guess it's one of those, try and see things....
