8 inch deep tank

I bought this 8 inch deep frag tank for mushrooms and mangroves. I still need to rock scape it.

Cool, I’ve always built my own sumps for my display tanks and alway incorporate a refugium and mangroves in it. Those are the biggest ones I’ve ever seen, mine are usually about 12”-14” when I get them lol

That's awesome. Did you find mangroves that were ready for salt water or did you have to get them acclimated to salt water?

no overflow, just a media box on the back of it. there are no fish in this tank just corals.

These were grown in estuary mud. not full salinity yet.

There a root nodes coming out of the stalks. So i think ill have some stilt roots soon.

I like the cleanliness... What type of electrical setup you have in the picture illustrated(outlets etc...?

Thank you, that’s just some electric boxes, outlets, switched outlets that are nice for turning pumps/ wave makers on/ off, I have a built in programmable timer wired to the refugium light. Just a bunch of stuff you can get from Home Depot. My background is electric power control and technology/ electrical engineering.
