Acrylic??

Great thread. Personally I like the clear edges on acrylic tanks but would worry about removing Caroline. Also I read a thread on r2r that said elos tanks were made out of the same glass as Rolex watches.

Well I did it! Stopped by and made the deal with my LFS selling it today, took some measurements. Tank is 42.5x31.5x31.5! Quite an upgrade from the 29gallon biocube I have right now haha.

I had acrylic tank for 10 years and switched to glass last year. I got tiered of how easily it got scratched. You scratch inside of the tank very easily with the cleaning magnets if a piece of sand gets in it. You cant buff out the scratches from inside with the chemicals. . .my kids scratched it enough to get on my nerves, finally got tiered and switched to a glass tank. My 2 cents.
