Apex BBU Offsets Feed Mode?

So I guess I would have expected this to be programmed into Apex but I guess not…… but maybe I’m doing something wrong.

Very simply, I hooked up my two mp40s to a battery back up and now they won’t respond to feed mode. I get that it goes to the bbu for power when feed mode kills it but I had hoped for some programming logic vs a mechanical on/off with feed mode.

Am I missing something or do I just need to deal with this?

@PSU4ME unfortunately I can not help with this but if you go on R2R and post the question on @SuncrestReef page he has always been able to help me with my tough programming issues.
