Has anyone used this for dosing its for dosing it says made by toms aquatics

I use one for ATO. Flow rate is not adjustable and runs at steadu stream for me. I am pumping up about 12". I'd think a controller would be needed to use it for dosing, turning it on/off quickly a few times a day.

I did some math it would run for a little over 4 mins to dose my tank 30 calc would that be to fast for my corals and tank and put things into shock?

I would personally not use one for dosing 2-part or similar. These are just simple vacuum diaphragm pumps, best used as an ATO. They will not give you the consistent amounts pumped that you need. These also rely on head pressure so as your level drops in your jug, the flow rate will slow down.

What you need is a peristaltic pump. These provide consistent pumping rates that do not change as head pressure changes. Bulkreefsupply makes a relatively cheap one, or there are plenty of other options.
