Reef Hiatus
I recently bought a 5x54W T5 fixture from www.aquatinics.com. Tom, the owner, was very easy to deal with and answered many of my questions before I bought the fixture. The fixture is high quality, with individual reflectors, so the light output is very good.
Having a bow front tank, I was very happy with the fixture dimensions. At less than 10 inches wide, these make very good fixtures for tanks with short sides (55G, 72 Bow). Both his t5 and t5/MH combos are small enough to fit on almost any tank.
Price was very reasonable, and he was running a special with free bulbs, which made the cost very competitive.
He is located in North Haven CT, so i actually had the fixture picked up as opposed to shipping it.
