ATO Troubles

Hi All,
I have a Tunze ATO that all of a sudden over the past few days has been going off incessantly. Minimal change in water volume in my reservoir and I haven’t noticed a drop in water volume in the sump itself. Any ideas as to what the problem could be and what the solution would entail.

Have you already tried cleaning the optical sensor?

Yes. Still isn’t helping. I assume next step is to replace the pump itself?

No unusual splashing around the sensor to confuse it?

Negative it’s in the most steady area of the sump

I had trouble with my ATO. Turned out the plastic piping at the back of the tank had become kinked over time. Easy fix.
