So we were a vendor again yesterday at the FFM and had another fantastic time! The highlight for me was was having Joe Yaiullo come back and pick up that huge fungia plate the we had on display for the Long Island Aquarium!
This was a piece that we had in a long time client's tank (almost 20 years) and had been in his tank growing for about 7 years before he retired and decided to break down the aquarium.
In the beautiful chaos of the day, I had not thought to get a picture of the plate. This piece got a lot of attention and I noticed many folks taking pictures of it. If anyone here had gotten a picture of and is willing to share here, that would be awesome!
I am honored to share with my client and to know that a coral that he treasured for so long and trusted us to care for will now be in the perfect home and able to be enjoyed by many in the 20,000 gallon reef at LIA by a true legend! I can't wait to take our next trip down to visit!
