Bleach Bath Question

Hey guys!
Does anyone know if it’s okay to put some old bio-media like spheres and bio logs in with my rock when I give the rock a bleach bath? I’ve done rock bleach baths before but, idk if I can put old media in there. Old meaning maybe 2 years old.
