I just thought I would share my DIY bubble algae vacuum. I bought the materials at Home Depot. I was able to find this all in the kitchen plumbing section. It’s some vinyl tubing, and a thin rigid PVC tube.
It’s pretty self-explanatory, just make sure the vinyl tube can fit around the rigid pvc tube. Cutting the PVC tube at a angle to make a sharp tip will allow you to pluck the bubble algae off the rock and suck it up during a water change.
