Its common for all that don't run a CA reactor, dose some sort of ALK and CA mix.
Can everyone post:

Current levels:
CA:
ALK:
PH:

What brand they use:

How much they dose and when:

size tank/water volume

Type (mixed, SPS, LPS, Softies)

Does anyone dose to supplement a reactor (thiers can't keep up with the demand)
Who out their monitors their Mag. Whats the swing vs time?

Current levels:
CA: 420
ALK:3 meq/l
PH: 8.
Topoff Mrs. Wages limewater 24/7 and check/adjust weekly with Dowflake and A&H Baking Soda ...since Randy's recipe was published.

Current levels: 450, 3.6
Right now I'm just stocked with frags (thanks Bec, Ray, and Nuno!) so my consumption is low, I'm dosing occasionally with Mrs. Wages limewater topoff. I'll run a kalk reactor as consumption gets back up to good levels, and I plan to use Randy's 2-part when the Kalk can't keep up.

Just a clarification: Mrs Wages pickling lime solution = kalkwasser.
It's just a cheap source of the kalk.

Current levels:

Ca: 440
Alk: 3.6-4.0 meq/l ; 10-11 dkH
pH: 8.2
Mag: 1260-1350 (haven't felt the need to add a Mag supplement yet, although I have magnesium chloride on hand)

I use saturated kalkwasser (made with pickling lime) as continuous auto-topoff (1.2g/day), and once or twice a week need to supplement alk with B-Ionic (will move to homemade when I run out of B-Ionic) as the kalkwasser is not enough to keep the level of alk where I want it.

Tank is a 75g (+20g sump), mixed reef. I'm seeing good growth on the SPSs.
