Chiller for Your Nano

I don't have one, but I have seen them used with an acrylic bracket. Basically an L shaped piece of accrylic that is hung in the back chammbers or off a tank wall that allows the probe to be submerged. The Chiller element just sits upside down, fan up.

I have also seen them drilled into small tanks, like a 10G, where the glass is not tembpered and this then becomes a bulkhead fitting of sorts that was siliconed in.

I considered an ice probe 1/10 on my nano but decided to go the external chiller route and plumb it in line with my return from the back chamber. I've been happy this way, although it is considerably more expensive than the above option. I honestly don;t thin the probe style would have been enough to keep up with my heat load and MH lights. As it is the in line JBJ Nano Arctica kicks on 5-10 times a day for a couple minutes each time.

Hmm I also will be watching this. I am sure to have issues this summer with my new setup and this looks like a perfect solution.
