Clown spawning pics

There are lots of specifics about why the fry won't survive. Their eyes develop in such a way that any light that is not from directly above (like through the glass) will blind them and they can not hunt. Their food needs to be at a density that would foul the tank very quickly and it would not be possible to keep a regular tank that way. They create a huge amount of waste which must be dealt with, and in a non sterile tank, there are predators of both them and their food which can't be avoided. You have to raise their food and you have to buy or raise the food for the food.

I am working on getting set up to raise the babies, but the realities of it are that with the clowns producing a batch of 300-400 every 12 days or so, even if I do raise some, most will be a natural food for the tank.
