Coral/Bioload

I was reading a Craigslist ad. The person is seeling off some corals to cut down on bio load. Do corals add to your bioload? I didnt think they did.

I've seen my bubble coral retract and release poopoo, at least i think that's what it was. and plus, less corals could mean less feeding so yeah i kinda agree with the guy. my 2cents

I see a good amount of it is softies.
I'm thinking once he goes cutting that stuff off to frag it, there's going to be some bioload added just from that.Especially with mushrooms.

corals consume light, but also respire and expel waste. I have a leather in my tank that weighs about 10 pounds. It definitely adds to the bioload
