I got some palys at first where very close to the rock and looking more like a zoa....now they are like reaching toward the light. Is this a sign I need to move them up higher?

To add more to this, 250MH I would say about 24inchs from light 44G corner pent

I have had AOG(armour of God)paly on the bottom of my 90 gallon under 2-250 watt and they stretch like that.
But,it really hasn't bothered them as far as mutiplying.

Looks like they're on a pretty accessible rock. Try playing around with the placement to see if that helps. FWIW, flow also plays a factor in zoas and palys stretching.

yes, like Anthony said, flow can do that. Sometimes I totally forgot that...
the zoas in the picture looks very healthy, there is nothing to worry about. Man, you must be doing something right and that is a lot of growth for those zoas.
