I agree with diligaf, most definite porcelain crab species, if it has only 3 pairs of walking legs as it is not a true crab but a evolved squat lobster that morphed over time to look more like a crab. They are filter feeding animals. Some like intertidal areas. I bet it is safe. They are delicate though, as the name implies. If you have any larger fish, it may get attacked if you throw him in and he has a ride through the water past a hungry crowd...

I didn’t know all of that either, until I used some resources. I did know it was a porcelain crab species... that was all I was sure of... that is why sites like this are great!
