digital thermometers

I have 3 of the relatively cheap ones. They all read different temps. What are
you guys using? Having trouble getting a handle on this one. The difference
can be more than 1 degree at any given time.

Radio Shack one...seems okay. I check it against the floating one I have in the sump and it is within a degree.

The reason I am looking for accuracy is because my ebo heater I had set at 78 was on
with the tank temp reading of 80.5 on one thermomoter another was at 79.2.

Anyone else have problems with the ebo after cleaning it? Still looking for replies on
the thermometers....

Pinpoint I have 4 So what I did was all 4 one one tank & did average between them for one

Thanks wrassfan and littlep. I guess this just confirms most of the thermometers we
have available are not very accurate.
