Digitata Grafting

Has anyone tried grafting all sorts of color variants of digitata together, and it work? How would you go about doing this?

I ask cause after seeing a piece of green birdnest grafted into a german blue digi, and seeing all the other color variants of digitata it got me wondering if it's been done, and is it possible to graft a bunch of digitata together?
Without getting into specific colors, and just a general coloration model of example a digitata rainbow coral or sorts.

There is a member on here who use to do it and it was very cool how they grew together.

I had a german blue and a green grow into each other a while ago. They didn't really graft into one, more like one over grew the other in a spot. Still kind of cool though.

Jason401 has digis in his tank that have grown together as well. Looks pretty kool.

It is quite easy.
I even saw a blue digi and green slimmer grow together, on one branch.
I also have an acro/digi hybride colony, it is a 8+ inch one. Too bad it is brown.
