Does plankton food expire ?

I have a bottle of Kent ChromaPlex I bought about a year ago trying to feed my flame scallop.
It smells ok (not rank or anything) not that I would know,
I just smell... I mean everything, Almost.
ANYWAY, think it is still ok to put in the tank????????
I have new bottle of phyto too to use.
Gotta feed the that dozen wonderful auction frags I got..

I believe the plankton in the Kent products is already dead, so it pretty much lasts forever. From what I've heard, it is not that good anyways. Regular Phyto needs to be shaken very often and kept in the frige. It will go bad in a month or so.
