double billing for renewed membership???

hello moderators-

i renewed my subscription on 7/12/12 and was billed $20 through PayPal.

I was billed AGAIN for another $20 on 8/16/12.

I have this set up as a recurring subscription in PayPal. Their site states that the next renewal would be on 7/12/13.

I have no idea but I'll make sure this gets seen by those who do deal with subscription stuff.

Did you manualy renew on 7/12, or was it an auto renew? Paypal will auto renew as a default, that's often the problem with this sort of thing.

Manual renew on 7/12 with an annual renewal subscription thereafter. PayPal even notes the next payment due on 7/12/2013. No idea why the billing occurred on 8/16. Thank you for looking into it.
