Dry Rock amount

just ordered 30lbs of fiji dry rock for my 38g nuvo tank. should that be enough?

That should be enough. However, these dry rocks are full of dead organic and very polluted with phosphate. I bought 150lbs and it has been sitting in water and flow for 4 months and the phosphate still at unusable level. Started at more than 0.8ppm and only dropped to 0.6ppm. I have hook up the GFO reactor to it and will update my thread on them

I would say it would depend on what other forms of filtration you plan on using and the amount/type of livestock you plan on keeping.

I got burnt by phosphates as Nick mentioned. Hair algae and bryopsis up the a$$. Better cycle it for a while.
