Finally!

Kalk reactor?

Hello all,
This is probably a stupid question, but I have never had the opportunity to use a calc reactor and the only knowledge on them I have is through the web.
Are you all just running kalkwasser in the bottom of the unit and the pump basically just keeps it suspended and with the reactor being tall enough you only get the calc water wiithout any precipitate?
The ones that I have seen on the web usually have a CO2 bottle plumbed in to facilitate the reaction. Is that just the next step to more effectively making concentrated calc water?
Thanks for any help.

Not a stupid question at all. They are actually two different methods. The Kalkwasser reactor (Nilsen Reactor) uses kalkwasser only. The other one is a Calcium Reactor which uses calcium carbonate and CO2.

Thanks!

:) Thanks Steve and Nuno!
Lots of great information, it sure is nice being able to tap into such a wealth of information!
Take care.
